Hi I'm Mallory

I'm a Mormon. And I am happy.

About Me

I am a new mom to a darling baby girl and married to my best friend. I had the privilege of serving a mission for the LDS church and love to share the gospel. I have a great love for learning, organizing and planning, being around people I love (especially my little family), and sharing the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but like many other people in their youth, had to make a decision whether to follow the teachings of Christ or to not. I made a personal decision to believe in God, because I saw miracles. I made a personal decision to have faith in Christ, because I felt His love. And, I made a personal decision to serve a mission, because I want everyone to feel the same way. By baptism and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, we become members of the LDS church, but throughout actions, we become disciples of Christ. Reading the Book of Mormon and other scripture helps me find the Lord and in the end, helps me find myself and discover my divine potential. I know that Heavenly Father lives and has given us the gift of repentance and a plan of happiness to return back to Him and the Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting daily. Being a member of the Lord's church is no easy task, but we are enabled more and more as we live it. I do daily things such a read my scriptures and say my prayers, but attending church and serving those around me play a crucial part in my life. I serve those in my ward by visiting women a few times a month to share a message with them. At church, I teach about Christ and His ultimate sacrifice and how we can return to live with him. I help expound the scriptures and in return, learn much from others. The scriptures are the word of God. In my daily life, I listen to the Holy Ghost, a gift given to me by my Heavenly Father. As a mother, it's my best advocate and tool in raising my daughter. As a wife, it is my best advocate and tool in being a good wife. I listen to know that He is there. He hears me! We are not alone.
