Hi I'm Clint

I am an engineering student working towards a masters. Happily married. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending the Colorado School of Mines, working towards getting my masters degree in engineering. I like snowboarding, running and swimming when I have time. I also have a habit of tinkering with electronics and mechanics, often upcycling garbage into useful things.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and always attended church in my youth. I knew my parents knew the gospel was true and I trusted them. As I grew older and had to start making choices for myself I contemplated whether serving a mission was for me. I prayed about it a lot and felt that the decision was right for me. When I was at the missionary training center a modern apostle came to speak to us. It was Henry B. Eyring, currently in the First presidency of the church. He told us that as missionaries preaching Christ restored gospel, we needed to be sure of our testimony and have our own confirmation by the holy ghost. He promised us that if we would go to our rooms that night and pray to know about the prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, we would recieve an answer. I did as he asked and now have a confirmation of my own about the truth of this work.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the youth in the wards I have lived in. Several times working with the young mens group, and for a short time working with the 10 year old cub scouts. Most recently I have been serving in the Bishopric as the second counselor in the student ward.
