Hi I'm Ryan Lindsay

I'm a Patriot, I'm a Lacrosse Player, a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a Lacrosse player I have played the game for several years now and there is nothing like begin on the Lacrosse field. Life is simplified when playing any sport your goal is simple beat the other team rules very from sport to sport but the goal is clear when your on a court or a field or just running it distracts me from life's trials. In college I joined ROTC to serve as a United States Army Officer so I could serve my country which is something I have always wanted to do. Other then the physical nature of the job because I enjoy begin active I always had a fascination with the revolutionary war that breed a love for this country and a desire to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I really never knew what I believed it didn't matter what it was I wanted to find out for myself and wanted started me on this journey to actually find out was a fear of death. I can remember sleep less nights pondering over what it would be like to die, just what happens does your spirit leave your body and you find yourself looking down at yourself, or is there that tunnel that everybody talks about with the light at the end of it, or do you just cease to exist and enter just a black world of nothingness where you are gone. I desired to find out and I knew what my parents had taught me and so I went to the scriptures now the Bible wasn't giving me the details I wanted but the Book of Mormon did in a book called Alma and more specifically Alma chapter 40. So if i could find out that Book of Mormon was true i would have the answer and I prayed about it and studied and eventually I received an answer and my mind wasn't troubled by those things any more and I knew that the Holy Ghost had comforted me and that the book was true.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving as a missionary in San Antonio, Texas sharing what I have come to know to be true with those people here in Texas. It has been the most rewarding experience of my life to help people come unto Jesus Christ and be baptized by his authority that has been restored.
