Hi I'm Daniel

I love celtic music, Scotland, Ireland, and Spanish, and I'm a mormon

About Me

Before my mission I attended college, I'm a math major working on my bachelors. I like to draw fantasy/ medieval art, listen to celtic music, read, and hang with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Member because, I know that this church is true, I found that out by living the gospel and feeling the happiness it brings, I have also prayed and got an answer from God that this is his church.

How I live my faith

Currently I am a missionary for the church. As a missionary we talk to people wherever we are, and sometimes by knocking on their door. We teach others about how we have a living prophet and how they can more fully live the gospel of Jesus Christ by having stronger faith, repenting, being baptized, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and keeping the commandments till the end. These steps are also what we live by. In addition to that we seek to provide service for those whom we meet.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

Our Religion came from a boy who had questions about which church was true. He tried to find out for himself, but the churches just argued with each other. Following the promise of James 15 he looked to God to give him the answer in prayer. Because Joseph Smith exercised faith on that scripture from the bible he got a glorious answer from God and his son Jesus Christ. They told him that he would be the one that they would bring back Christ's church. Joseph did restore Christ's church that had fell apart after the martyrdom of Christ apostles. That is where we stand today the same Church of Jesus Christ but in the last or Latter Days Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

In part to fulfill the commandment from Matthew 2819, but also to share with others that God still speaks to his prophets that we have a living prophet today. If they will listen and begin to exercise faith, they will learn for themselves that there are more blessings that God has for them, and through a living prophet who has authority from God their families can be together forever.
