Hi I'm Chase

I'm an Idahoan, love the outdoors, I love an adrenaline rush and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm at the age where i'm trying to figure out what to do for the rest of my life. Its a tough decision, don't want to have a boring job and don't want to be poor so have to find the perfect career. I really love summers in Idaho, i'm always outdoors. camping, fishing, swimming, hunting, kayaking, white water rafting, and tons more. i really enjoy a good challenge. if someone else can do it i sure can! with all this i don't do any of it alone. i love having my family along and we enjoy the time spent together and its really brought my family closer together.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon cause it is the way to peace and happiness. its not just a bunch of rules but its a way of life that brings joy. all the sad things that happen to people, most of them can be avoided or at least softened by the knowledge of the gospel. honestly I wouldn't be as happy of a person without the gospel. I've seen the direct blessing of living the gospel. Its true and i testify of it. My family is happier because of it, closer to each other and we always make it through tough times, (though truly its never been overly bad.) one thing that i know is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that our sins can be forgiven and our guilt can be removed. i have felt God's love for me and I will never forget it.

How I live my faith

I try to do what Christ does, i really enjoy helping others in whatever way needed. i can't begin to count how many people i have helped move, or chopped wood for, or any other kinds of service. it brings my happiness to see there smiles. i also share the gospel with everyone i come across, i have the opportunity to be serving as a full time missionary right now and i get to share my testimony of these things many times a day. i am not ashamed of my religion!

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

no, although the church encourages its members to be involved in local and national elections the church doesn't talk about who you should vote for. we belief in teaching correct principles and letting the people govern themselves. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is where Christ acted as the mediator for all mankind and took upon himself the sins of everyone. This makes it possible for us to be forgiven of our sins and be able to return to live with Heavenly Father again. This was made necessary because as mortals we all die physically, and because all of us sin and fall short of the Glory of God none of us can make it back to live with God on our own. "for no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of God. sin makes us unclean. That is where Christ comes in. he overcame death and sin through the atonement. Show more Show less
