Hi I'm Weston

I am a full time student. My wife and I are having a little girl in November. I believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I have a job on a night crew at a grocery store. I have a wife and a little girl on the way. My wife and I finally nailed down what we are going to name her. I am going to college and this semester I have 14 units. My life is going to be extremely hectic and tiresome. But I know that the blessings will be worth the work. I enjoy water sports, hiking, rock climbing, jogging, listening to music, watching movies, the occasional video game, reading, camping, and shooting. I like to think I am a pretty well rounded individual.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was eight years old my Dad fasted for two or three days that I would have an amazing experience at my baptism that I would always remember, well his hopes and prayers were answered. He was the Bishop of the ward at the time so I had my interview with him prior to my baptism. He found me worthy (real shocker), and as we knelt down to pray to close our interview, i felt what can only be described as the Spirit of God fill the room and penetrate my soul. My Father and I both had tears in our eyes and from then on I have always had a testimony that this is the true church of God. I am a member because i know this is the only church that teaches everything I need to know to return to live with my Father in Heaven. I continue to serve in this church because it brings peace and happiness to my soul. And it is the only place where i have felt spiritually whole.

How I live my faith

The title of my calling in the church is Ward Mission Leader. Which means I have the awesome opportunity to work closely with the leaders of the ward and also the missionaries. Being in such close contact with people so willing to serve others really helps me be a better person. It makes me want to serve others and in my opinion there is no better way to follow in the footsteps of the Savior than by serving others. Just the other day as I was coming home from work, at 8:00 am, I saw a man struggling to change a flat tire. So I asked him if he needed any help and he told
