Hi I'm Lora Kelly

I come from a family of 15 kids. I love to bake. I'm married to my high school sweetheart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in my house was a little crazy. When you have 7 brothers and 7 sisters, there's never really a dull moment, but that's exactly what I loved about my childhood. I was born into the church and was taught from a very young age that I am a daughter of God who loves me. I come from a very loving and close-knit family. About 5 years ago, my father was killed in a motorcycle accident. It was devastating to say the least. Although it was the most difficult trial I have ever been through, I know that I will see him again one day and that brings so much peace and comfort to my family. I am married to my highschool sweetheart. We enjoy going to the beach, traveling, eating out and playing games with friends. We are hoping to start a family very soon and look forward to becoming parents. I love to bake treats. I love to run and mountain bike. I love to be outdoors. I love to organize. I love to plan and throw parties and love to shop.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's true. Once you know that, there's no denying it. The gospel of Jesus Christ is what brings me the most happiness and joy in my life. I feel so blessed to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me, specifically for me, and a specific plan for each of his children here on this earth. After this life, I know that we will live eternally with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and with our families. My dad passed away 5 years ago, so having the knowledge of the Plan of Happiness is something that brings me so much comfort. I don't know how I could have ever gotten through that if I didn't know that I would see him again one day.

How I live my faith

I work with the young women (ages 12-18) in my ward. They are a lot of fun! We meet together for sunday school lessons every week at church and have a mid-week activity every wednesday night. At those activities, we do anything from learning how to cook a new recipe, make a craft, do a service project, or sometimes we just play games. Regardless of what we do, we always have fun and learn from each others examples.
