Hi I'm Ted

I grew up in Texas. I've lived in Colorado for 30 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 32 years. We have 4 adult children and 4 grand children. I am a realtor. I enjoy playing the guitar and gardening. I have built over 300 feet of 4 foot tall retaining walls by hand using only stones that I have dug up from around my mountain home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up by good parents who taught me well. We went to protestant churches regularly until my teenage years. As a young adult, I wasn't sure what I believed. In college, I had a friend who asked me if I had ever had profound, intuitive feelings that I could neither explain nor deny. I had. But, I wasn't sure what they meant. I have since learned that God will guide all who honest seek him by prompting them in the heart. Promptings that lead us to do good, always come from God. Further deep conversations with my friend led to my investigation of the Church. The Church has helped me to live more fully all of the good things that my parents taught me.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching Sunday school. Preparing the lesson builds my faith and knowledge as much as it prepares me to present to other class members. To me, nothing is more satisfying that watching others come to a greater understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our discussions.
