Hi I'm Jenny.

I'm an educator. I'm a mother of two. I'm an avid reader. I'm a amatuer chef, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full-time mother of two and a graduate student. I am almost finished with my Master's degree in Education and Curriculum instruction. I enjoy literature, theater, and I am sometimes compulsive at checking my favorite cooking blogs for new recipes to try. My husband and I love to spend time together as a family and enjoy the outdoors, reading, traveling, and just plain goofing around together.

Why I am a Mormon

I honestly love being a Mormon. My faith enriches my personal and family life and has granted me a foundation of hope and optimism for the future. As a Mormon, I feel like I have discovered a very personal relationship with a loving heavenly father. I counsel with him daily and find He has an active interest in me and my family. This has afforded me great peace and assurance as I have faced my own personal challenges and disappointments in my life. Most of all, being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has helped my husband and I to enjoy a rich family life, which we feel is paramount in our lives.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in our community. I help to organize and plan an annual girls' camp for girls ages 12-18. Girls' are taught to uphold high standards of conduct, integrity, morality and dress. I love working with the youth. They are committed to becoming the best they can be and continually inspire me to recommit to being a better version of myself.
