Hi I'm Ryan

I'm 19 years old. I love life. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have a twin sister and growing up we've always been really close. We both share the youngest spot with four older siblings. My home was always busy with both my parents trying to raise all six of us. When I was almost three we moved to washington from utah. My older siblings childhoods were split between both states, but my twin and I consider ourselves true Washingtonians. I love reading anything that's worth my time, horror, adventure, non-fiction even. I'm enjoy writing my thoughts down. (someday I may write a book!) I'm all for high adventure like mountain climbing and long hiking treks. Me and some of my siblings want to hike the appalachin trail someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's the only religion that ever made sense to me. I was raised in the church, but my faith is my own. Sure, for awhile I relied on their testimonies, but as a teenager I earnestly sought answers for myself. At age 14 I read the Book of Mormon all the way through and prayed for an answer to know if it was true. I got an answer throughout my whole body; a feeling of peace like I'd never felt before came over me and I knew, "This book is true." When I was in high school I began to study on my own, buhddism and philosophy. I'd always been into meditation and yoga. Buhddism was very attractive to me. But, what I learned shocked even me. All religions have some form of the truth, but the Church of Jesus Christ is the only church with all of the truth. I know that everyone has within them the capability of discovering truth for themselves. All one has to do is study, ponder, and be open-minded in all things and two other very important thing; 1. Have no expectation on the result of what you find 2. Be willing to act on what you find out to be true. My mother always told me I was born with a testimony, but that's simply not true. I've worked for my faith because I know faith is dead unless we do something with it. I'm a lover of truth and light. Jesus Christ restored his church through the prophet Joseph Smith because it was time for truth to be brought back to the children of men. I'm Mormon because this church is the only faith that believes God is all-

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others and being kind. I try my best to live my life as the Savior, Jesus Christ would want me to live. For the next two years I'll be serving a mission in eastern Idaho. I help people develop faith in Christ by inviting them to read scriptures, pray to our Heavenly Father (God), and attending church on sundays. I'm a missionary.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?
