Hi I'm Sean

I just finished serving as a missionary in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently completed serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission. I like to read, play video games, watch movies and TV, ride my bike, drive, eat, sing, shop, attend sporting events, and just hang out. I attended college for two semesters before my mission. I've worked at a lawn and power equipment repair shop and dealership in my hometown, and at a fast food place at my college. I saw some great and miraculous things happen on my mission, and I hope to see more as I continue living my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My father is a convert of about 25 years, and my mother was born and raised in the Church. Growing up, I went through all the motions in the Church like I was supposed to, but I didn't actually have a testimony for myself until I was almost sixteen years old. I still remember that day - Thursday, June 29, 2006. I was attending a session of Especially For Youth (EFY). That particular day was a spiritually-oriented day. I participated in the musical program that night. Following, we had a testimony meeting. As I was listening to others share their testimonies, thoughts of the Aaronic Priesthood came to mind, and I lost it. I started bawling like a baby, and the rest is history. From that day forward, I was a different person. Over the last five years, I've seen much spiritual growth as my testimony has been strengthened. I've come to know that God lives, that He loves us, and that He directs His work here on the earth. I know that He has a prophet on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it, along with the Holy Bible, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, and the teachings of living prophets and apostles are the word of God.

How I live my faith

Each day, I pray and read from the scriptures. I attend Church services faithfully and help my family live their faith to the fullest. I take opportunities to bear my testimony when I can, and I'm trying to invite good friends that I care about very much to learn the gospel and experience the joy that I know comes from the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
