Hi I'm Tom

I'm from Utah. I'm studying to be an Actuary. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 21 years old. I like to stay active. Snowboarding, playing basketball, and ping-pong are some of my favorite hobbies. When life isn't busy I make it busy, I prefer to be moving and I go crazy if nothing is happening in life. I love my family more than anything else in this world. I am number 4 in a family of 7 kids so our home was never quiet, but we always seemed to have someone to hang out with which was good. My home-life was full of fighting, forgiving, and growing closer together as a large family of 9. I look forward to raising a family when that time comes.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, it's kind of a long story why I'm still a mormon. I was raised as a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, baptized at 8 years old, learned the Gospel of Jesus Christ first through song as a young sunbeam and then from treasuring up the word as I prayerfully read from the scriptures. in both instances I was taught line upon line from our guide and companion the Holy Ghost. My reason for still being a mormon didn't come all at once, but it came through study, prayer, and experience in keeping the commandments of God, or in other words my faith in Jesus Christ and his true Gospel came by doing, trying, and experimenting upon the word.

How I live my faith

In the world there are so many voices fighting for your attention, there is so much pressure to live a certain way and it seems as though everyone wants to force their opinion on you. How I live my faith is by being true to what I know is correct or right; being open-minded but also immovable in what I know to be true.
