Hi I'm Shane Beus

I am a father, a grandfather, a farmer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is my family. My wife and I have been married for 35 years and we have 8 children. We have enjoyed every minute of our children's lives. We have watched hundreds of ball games, dozens of dance performances and worked side by side with each child on our farm. With 11 grandchildren and more to come, I know I will have many more opportunities for wonderful family experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Latter-Day Saint home, so I have been a member of the church my whole life. But, even as a child I grew to love the principles of the gospel. As I an adult, I can see how those principles can influence, a community. principles of integrity, hard work, service and self reliance bless our lives daily. I am grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for his example of love and selflessness.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have enjoyed serving in the church. I have particularly enjoyed serving with the youth. It is gratifying to work with them and watch them grow and make good decisions and then go on to adulthood and with a desire to serve the Lord wherever life takes them. I have been served as well. I so appreciate all the faithful brothers and sisters who have taught me and my children. The gospel gives us a pattern to live our life by. I am grateful for the Lord and his life of service.
