Hi I'm Fred Hull

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a native of Michigan and have lived her most of my life and have been a part of the church since I was 2 years old. I grew up active in the church and when I was called upon to serve my country, I did so in the Navy, serving in Naval Aviation on shore installations and aboard aircraft carriers. I worked for a time as an aircraft mechanic and made the decision to go back to college. I retired from the Military Reserve and from civil service with the State of Michigan. I have had a deep and unshakeable testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true since I received my testimony of the truthfulness on my visit to the Sacred Grove as a boy. Now that I have retired, I spend my time reading scriptures, working out, within reason because of permanent injuries, and trying to help others when and where I am able. My wife and I have shared 37 years together and have one daughter and presently one granddaughter and hope to have others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a firm belief in the teachings of the church and I consider my relationship with my Savior to the most important thing in my life. I cherish that relationship as well as my family, my membership in the church, and the opportunity to live in the United States and the honor of having served my country to help protect the freedom to worship as I have chosen and the right of others to do the same.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to help others in small ways and by trying to show kindness and patience with others. I try to live the principles of the gospel to the best of my ability and set a good example for others. I have had others comment that they see a deep inner peace in me that they would like to have and I try to explain to them where that inner peace comes from, my belief in and love for my Savior Jesus Christ.
