Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a missionary. I love to golf. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a highschool graduate and attending college in the 2012-2013 semester, and hoping to major in graphic design. I'm currently serving a full time mission in the Massachusetts, Boston Mission. I worked at a golf course throughout high school and played on the high school team.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, along with my 3 older sisters. However my own conversion happened when i was 16. I prayed and asked Heavenly Father if Joseph Smith was a Prophet. I recieved the most overwhelming and peaceful feeling within a short moment of asking. I knew right then and there the answer was from God, and that Joseph Smith is a Prophet. Because of that witness I also knew that the Book of Mormon was true and translated by Joseph Smith, that the Lord answers our prayers, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church here on the earth today. All of my life experiences from that time forward are now built upon that foundation.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the church, and will serve for 2 years. My purpose is found in Matthew 28: 19-20 which says," Go ye [missionaries] therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo I am with you alway, even until the end of the world. Amen." As this was Christ speaking to His 12 apostles before he left the earth, it is also our duty as well. We teach everyone about the gospel of Jesus Christ and invite them to come unto Him. We share this "good news" with everybody we see, because it has been a blessing to us, and know it will be a blessing to all of God's children.
