Hi I'm Kellie

I'm 19, missionary in Ohio, grew up in Southern California, and blessed with a twin who has Down Syndrome. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Californian born and raised. Growing up I was involved with water polo, theater, student body government, National Charity League, and my church groups. I have an amazing mom who is a teacher and a great dad who is in construction. My older brother just got back in May from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Boston, Massachusetts. I have a twin sister. She is the most amazing person I know and teaches me patience and love every day. My sister was born with Down syndrome and at age nine she was diagnosed with Autism. Being blessed with my sister in my life has led me to choose to major in special education. I am a freshman in college and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father and that he knows me personally and loves me. He loves me so much that he sent His son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins. I have hope because of Jesus Christ's example and great atoning sacrifice. I know that I can one day return to live with my loving Heavenly Father again. I am a Mormon because nothing has brought me more purpose, joy, fulfillment, and peace in my life than the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live the faith by trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ.
