Hi I'm Megan

I'm a triplet. I like to dance, sing and write. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of seven. I've lived in five states in my life and love the Mid-West. I met my fabulous husband when we were both attending Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. We are very blessed to have two children and are expecting our third. I'm fortunate enough to be able to be a stay-at-home Mom and I also teach piano lessons. I love to write, to sing, to dance though I wish I could do them all a little better! I love to laugh and spend time with my family. I'm not at all artistic but I wish I were! My favorite time of day is right before bedtime when we're all playing together as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I relied on the testimony of my parents' while growing up. I always had a testimony of the church but was too lazy to find out on my own if the Gospel was true. Once I was a senior in high school I decided to take the time to find out for myself. I read the Book of Mormon and I followed the promise given in Moroni chapter 10 verse 4-5 where it says to pray to Heavenly Father and ask if the Book of Mormon is true. I did that and found for myself that it was. I truly love the Gospel and am so incredibly grateful to have it in my life and to have it in the lives of my children and my husband. It has richly blessed us in so many daily ways. I have a sure testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I know everyone and anyone can find out whether or not the church is true by following the promise given in Moroni chapter 10 verse 4-5. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is very much a life-style and not just a religion and that is one of the things I'm most grateful for.

How I live my faith

I was called to fill a very active role in my ward shortly after moving in. I was very under-qualified and over-whelmed but I knew Heavenly Father would help me since he was the one who made the call! I've been serving in that calling for two years now and I know for a surety that I am constantly aided. I attend church weekly with my family and I really try to live the commandments on a daily basis. We read scriptures as a family everyday and we have family and personal prayers. Because we try to do these things we are fortunate to have the spirit be with us in our home. When the spirit is not present I can feel the void it brings. I need the spirit with me daily so I can be the best mom and wife I can be. I LOVE the Gospel!
