Hi I'm Todd

I am from Omaha, NE. I run a business, involved in the community, and love to spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for over 20 years to my high school sweetheart. I run a small business and I'm active in the community that i grew up in. We consider ourselves very lucky to live in the same area we grew up in and put down deep roots and have many close friends. I have four great kids who are involved in everything from tennis to basketball to baseball to football and everything in between. We have been fortunate to make great friends through our kids' participation on many teams. We love spending time together as a family especially when it involves vacations to Mexico, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Arizona, and other places that get us on a beach enjoying the sun, hiking or skiing in the mountains, or finding local food and flavor. I enjoy all sports including watching our Huskers in Memorial Stadium on a brisk fall day in Lincoln, NE with family and friends. We also enjoy spending time together as a family at the lake or at our family farm. I guess you could say that I treasure the time I get to spend with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to grow up in a home where love existed and strong principles were taught. As a kid, I took much of this for granted and didn't appreciate the importance of a strong home until I was older and on my own. As an adult, I realized that my parents learned these principles from their parents and from the teachings of our Mormon faith. The church exists to strengthen families and seal them together for eternity. When Christ was on the earth, he taught simple and beautiful principles that strengthen family bonds. We need these same truths more than ever today to face the challenges of a tougher world. I hope I'm able to pass the principles and saving ordinances of the Mormon faith on to my children so they can find even more joy and peace in this life.

How I live my faith

I have been so blessed throughout my life. I think the best way to live my faith is to do my very best to share my blessings through service and giving back. I truly enjoy the time which I have to volunteer in my kids' schools. Some of my best memories are working with dedicated administrators, teachers, and coaches who are committed to providing our children with an education. I have also had the opportunity to volunteer at an orphanage in Peru. We were able to build a dormitory for their school. It was really neat to get to know the children at the orphanage and help to make their world a little brighter and bigger. I also enjoy serving in my church and working with the youth. The youth are so optimistic about the future and some of that rubs off on me. The more I've been able to give of my time and resources, the more the Lord has blessed me and my family.
