Hi I'm Magali Coley

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I am 37 years old and a proud mother of 3 kids. I have a 19 year old daughter, a 13 year old son and a 8 year old boy as well. My name is Magali Coley, but most people call me Meg. I just recently finally obtained my BA in English Literature. I am going back to CSUN this year to start working on Master's in Marriage and Family therapy. I love to read books, traveling, watching movies, playing video games, swimming, hiking, and most importantly spending time with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to Mexican immigrants on August 29, 1973. My parents are both staunch Catholics. In high school, a friend of mine introduced me to the Mormon church. When he left on his mission, I followed a sinful path and had my daughter while in my senior year. After 2 years, I left her father because he was an alcoholic. I had kept in touch with my friend and began to attend church with him. After a few months a finally got baptized and have been a member ever since. I have a strong testimony of the power of the atonement and forgiveness.

How I live my faith

We strive to read the scriptures everyday and have prayer as often as possible. We make sure to be at church every Sunday and to keep up with tithing. Family home evenings are very important. and we hold them every week, even if we have to adjust them to our busy schedules. We participate in church activities. We are mindful of what we eat and drink, and make sure we edify our minds and body's as often as possible. We try to be an example to our neighbor and friends.
