Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon Gal who loves hunting, hiking, fishing... basically I love the Mountains!

About Me

I am currently a college student (hoping to graduate soon though). Some of my favorite things to do include: hiking, hunting, camping, cooking/baking, photography.....

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight, but grew up in a partially inactive home. I started going to church in high school when I felt a void in my life. I was happy, but something seemed to be missing, something that my church-going friends seemed to have. It took time, but I finally decided to open up some scriptures. This led to prayer, signing up for institute, asking my mother if we could go to church, and I have been going full force since. To begin with I didn't have much of a testimony, but the doctrines felt right. I knew that this life couldn't be all there was and through study and prayer I came to know of the Plan of Salvation; how each of us can return to live with our Heavenly Father, how our families can be sealed together for eternity. There has still been rough patches; I suffer from depression. However, with this gospel I know that I can pull through anything as long as I have faith. I know this church is true and I love it with all my heart.

How I live my faith

The things that I do to live my faith are not all that spectacular, they are just small and simple things: I pray, I study my scriptures, I look for opportunities to serve others, and I try to listen to the Holy Ghost. I am far from perfect, but the wonderful thing about this Gospel is the knowledge of the Atonement. Each day is a new opportunity to come closer to our Savior, to try to be better than we were the day before. Everyone makes mistakes, the trick is to repent and move forward.
