Hi I'm Jacob

I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I was adopted at the age of 6. I now live in Plainfield, IN. I'm a Magician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I lived in a couple of orphanaged in Korea, but I was fortunate to be adopted at the age of 6 to two great parents who lived near Detroit, MI. I am now marreid to a wonderful wife who grew up in Anderson, IN. We met at a church dance. We have been married for 10 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Oldest is 6 years old, our next, she passed away at the age of 8 days old. She was a wonderful baby. Baby from Heaven. I know she lives with our Heavenly Father and is waiting for us patiently. Our boy is 3 years old and our newest one is 6 months old. I love any sports there is. Football is my most favorite sport. I am also a magician. I love to do magic for my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I lived in Korea, I lived in a Chatholic Orphange. My parents when they adopted me were Mormons. So at the age of 6 I have always gone to the Mormon Church. When I served my mission in Morristown, NJ, I was able to see many people come into the waters of baptism to become Mormons themselves.

How I live my faith

Everyday I live knowing that my precious daughter is waiting for me in Heaven. I want to live my life so that I may be with my family again. I so dearly miss her but I know that her purpose was to receive a physical body and do an important work up in Heaven.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

That is one of our strongest belief in the Church. When our second child passed away at the age of 8 days old, both my wife and I, even though we were sadden by the loss, know that if we as parents live righteously here on this earth, we can live with our daughter again and to be able to raise her as if she was living with us now here on this earth. That is one of the greatest promises our Heavenly Father has given us. Show more Show less
