Hi I'm Melissa Felila

I'm a happy daughter to the BEST parents and a sibling to my imperfectly awesome siblings! I just live my life and love it I.A.M.!

About Me

Hi I'm Aussie born and raised with Tongan traditions that have guided my growth in life and also shaped who I am and my beliefs. My parents were both migrants from Tonga a little island in the Pacific Ocean and I'm first generation in Australia. I really do take my country for granted. My dad remarried and I have the best step-mom anyone could ask for. I'm blessed to have opportunities where I can pursue my dreams. I love music. Music in Pacific Islanders upbringings have been a means of facilitating and incorporating unity and love into our homes and lives. My family is everything and I have my heritage and culture to thank for that. I know there is nothing more important than service in the church and this has helped me to see how important and needed it is in my life as it gives me purpose and meaning. I have just recently returned from a full-time mission where I served in the sunny state of ANAHEIM, California. I served all over my mission and met all kinds of people who have given me something I will never be able to forget ever in my lifetime. A once in a life time experience it was to be a guide and helper in continuing the efforts the Savior had made when He was here on this earth many thousands of years ago.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that there is no place, no one that can give me refuge and security, forgiveness for my wrongs, second chances when I have outdone myself, unconditional and perfect love when the world has turned their backs on me, strength and hope to keep going when I am ready to give up like My God and His infinite and perfect Son Jesus Christ the advocate, our redeemer, comforter, savior, brother and friend. I am Mormon because it is truth that can never be altered or changed even as the years go by he is the only consistent immovable, unchangeable and forever being and guide in my life. He is doing life with me and that is more then enough.

How I live my faith

If you are truly converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ, understanding, knowing, feeling that in every fiber of your body and believe that the gospel teachings is from the Savior the Son of God you will act and not be acted upon. Believing is the essence of testimonies, living His teachings is the essence of true conversion.
