Hi I'm Benjamin

I work at Arby's. I plan on going into creative writing, computer programming, or teaching. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of ten kids. I am currently a full time missionary serving in the Knoxville Tennessee Mission. I plan on going to college after my mission. My parents are hard working and install that same drive within all of us. Back home, I liked to go camping, driving, playing video games, and play games with my family. I view education as a priority.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up Mormon, I still had to decide for myself whether or not it was true. My family had been trough a lot of hard times. It was during these times that I had to depend on the Lord for strength. Even though I did not see nor exactly hear his voice, I knew that he was there and he was helping my family. I am a Mormon because I know that God love all his children and that he tells all his children how to get to him. I also believe that God talked, talks, and will continue to talk to his children. I know that God will work miracles if it is his will and that he will talk to all his children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my mission here. I also live my faith by reading the words written by the prophets. Being Mormon is a way of life, not just a belief.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

We believe that our body is a gift from a loving Heavenly Father. As such, he expects us to take care of it. We believe that taking in harmful and addicting substances, such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco, etc., is against the will of God. If we obey His commandment, there are many blessings that come from it. Gaining knowledge, having a better life and being more sensitive to the prompting of the Spirit are some of these blessings. Show more Show less
