Hi I'm Bridgette
I am a dancer, a pianist, an artist, and a Mormon
About Me
I am a Ballroom dancer. I live and breat dance. I am also a song writer. I have only writen two songs but I hope to write many more. I play the piano and sing a little. I also love to draw. I have about 6 sketchbooks full of many people, faces and ideas. I love the outdoors. It is a place that I can have peace and think about my heavenly father as well as have a lot of fun and little adventurs of my own.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a mormon because I have been taught by my parents about Christ our savior, Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and I have prayed about all of them. I felt in my heart that what I had been taught was true. More then that when I lived what I was taught I felt the lord in my life more. In contrast when I would turn away from what I found to be true I felt the lord withdraw from my life. Someone once told me "experence is the greatest teacher." Through my experiences I have learned for my self that this church is true. I know that my savior lives and loves me. I know that Joseph Smith was a prohpet like moses, and I know that the Book of Mormon like the Bible is true.
How I live my faith
My faith is my life. I use our 13th article of faith as a guid line for me to follow. "we believe that if there is anything virtuos, lovely, praise worthy or of good report we seek after these things." Even though I am a ballroom dancer I still try very hard to keep a clean modest apperence in my cloths and dancing. I try to only listen to music that is up lifting, not digrading. I try and apply this to all aspects of my life. When I speak I try and uplife others not degread or put them down. I always try to remember that in all times and in all things and in all places that I am a daughter of God and that everyone I meet are his children, and my brothers and sisters.
