Hi I'm Kaylie

I grew up all over the West. I am married but still feel like a silly little girl who wants to know everything! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am done with college and wish I wasn't. I love the atmosphere of learning and meeting new people. My favorite thing to do is go on friday-night dates with my husband. We do everything from going on walks to watching movies to kayaking. One day we will be missionaries together for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; but for now, we love just being with each other and starting a family of our own.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life. My family moved at least 7 different times around Southern California and 4 times in Colorado. I always knew that my family loved me, but growing up, I learned that I loved them too. I also learned they would forever be my goofy friends. When we are together, we can never stop laughing. I also love listening and singing along, sometimes dancing, to music. Primary songs from church were always my favorite. And, whenever we moved, the songs were still the same and they gave me the same feelings of love from my Heavenly Father. "He gave me my life, my mind, my heart, I thank him reverently for all his creations of which I'm a part. Yes, I know Heavenly Father loves me." My family and my faith were my constants, and always will be. Now that I am married I will carry on what my parents have taught me. To live life and laugh while doing it.

How I live my faith

Every day is a new day. Some days are better than others, but I always know there is a Heavenly Father watching over me. On good days, I see my Father in everything. When I go on nature walks, I think how beautifully creative and loving He must be. And, on not so good days, He is also with me. I know that Jesus Christ helped many people on their bad days. I think of the woman at the well, and how He talked with her and loved her when no one else did. He makes me want to be better.
