Hi I'm Kayla

I'm a daughter, a wife, a sister, a granddaughter, an aunt, a teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was not raised in the church. I joined when I was 18 years of age. I have my AS degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently working on my BA in that same field. I enjoy working with children. My husband and I just got married in March for time and all eternity. We enjoy playing games together and walking our two dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member because the church gave me answers to questions I have wondered. They answered questions like where I came from, where I'm going, and why I'm here in a way that no other church had done. They accepted me for who I was despite all my past transgressions. I was loved and welcomed in long before I joined. I attended two years previous to being baptized and I don't know exactly when I began to realize the church was true. However, I can tell you this... It is true every aspect that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint teaches is true. I know this with every inch of my body. The church is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in several ways. I follow the teachings of the church. I pray daily. I help with the young women (ages 12 to 18) within my church by planning and attending meetings and activities with him. I visit sisters that are in need of help or are on my visiting teaching list. I reach out to those in need. I'm an example to others. I feed the missionaries. I pay a full and honest tithe. I attend my Sunday and weekday meetings. I listen to general conference. I attend activities for the women in the church. I do all this and much more!
