Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon. I love the outdoors.

About Me

First of all, I am a husband and a dad. I love being a husband and a dad! I love my family. I love the outdoors and enjoy activities with my family. These include: hiking, backpacking, fishing, skiing, mountain biking playing games together and working together! About 15 years ago, I started my own law firm. I very much enjoy working for myself.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know the Book of Mormon is true. The Holy Ghost has whispered to me many times that it is true. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it is His restored church on the Earth, restored as it was anciently with Prophets and Apostles and His Priesthood authority. I know I can receive divine direction for my life and my family's lives and that they can, too. I have great peace in my life and deep satisfaction in family life as well as life in general. I am very happy with my life! I know it is because I try to live the principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me.

How I live my faith

As a family, we are very active in community service projects and events. This has been great for our children who are all teenagers now. We try to be mindful of our neighbors and friends who need help and then go together as a family to help as we can. We attend church every Sunday, even if we are out of town. I love the Sunday meetings. I have opportunities to teach lessons and speak to congregations faily regularly as a result of responsibilites I presently have in the church. I like that we all can have opportunities to participate as we are asked and in ways in which we feel comfortable. I participate quite actively with the Boy Scouts of America. I am a District Chairman which gives me the opportunity to meet many youth and adults around my area and help the youth and the community. I like the morals and standards the BSA promotes. It fits right in with what we believe and are taught in the Church and what we try to teach our kids.
