Hi I'm Becca

I grew up in South Dakota and southern Utah. I study music at the University of Utah. I'm proud to be Thai. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophomore music student at the University of Utah. I minor in dance. I also march in the Pride of Utah marching band. I have nine siblings, two older brothers of which have passed away on separate occasions. I love the gospel and my best friend and current missionary, Conner, insisted I make a profile.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I love the gospel, and I have seen the hand of God in my life. I have a testimony of our prophet and I know, very strongly, the importance of templework.

How I live my faith

I am currently composing and compiling a list of songs and arrangements to create an LDS contemporary CD, which is something I have always wished to do and have been prompted to do by the spirit and God's direct words. I accept any calling willingly and try to help others find the light of the gospel.

In whom should we have faith?

Faith is an integral part of the LDS religion. In fact, it is the first principal of our gospel. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In my opinion, you must have faith in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost as a firm foundation. Upon that, you need to have faith in prophets of old and latter-day prophets, for it is through them that God channels his word to the people. But I believe more generally in having faith in people. You must have faith in the good people have. It's easy to get offended or to disagree with others in the church, but faith in their good intention is crucial to me. This does not mean turning a blind eye to your better judgement, but having faith in their general character. Lastly, faith in yourself. Show more Show less
