Hi I'm Gregg

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Gregg and I am 46 years old. I have been happily married to my wife for 19 years. We will celebrate our 20th anniversay this December. I have two daughters who are a complete joy. I work for a national insurance carrier as a surety underwriter. Most of my time is spent at the office, however, my job also allows me to visit construction projects and walk job sites. I really enjoy what I do. The people are what make everything worthwhile. I enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking in the nearby Rocky Mountains. My favorite sports are golf and volleyball. I lived in Mexico for two years in my early 20's and love "real" mexican food. I try and practice my spanish as often as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Mormon faith. At first, my religious beliefs were taught to me by my parents. They were both exceptional examples of how to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. At an early age, I came to believe for myself that what they had been teaching me was true. Everything they taught seemed to agree with what I was feeling inside. Even during my teenage years, I felt the feelings of the Holy Spirit confirm that what I knew and understood was correct and came from God. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The teachings of Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible and The Book of Mormon are found in the Mormon faith. Service and charity towards others is a large part of my church practice. I firmly believe that God is our Father and that His son Jesus Christ came to earth to atone for the sins of all mankind. If we repent and follow the teachings of Christ, we will be forgiven of our sins and qualify to return back to the presence of our Father. I believe the Book of Mormon to be scripture that teaches of Christ, but from prophets that lived in the Americas many centuries ago. I have read and studied its words, and have felt the Holy Ghost confirm its truthfulness to my heart.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith everyday. The best way I know how to please God is to love and serve Him. I feel my wife and family are my greatest responsibility and that by loving God, I am more willing to love and serve them. There is nothing more pleasing to me than to see my wife and children together, loving and helping each other. This is what I believe God desires.
