Hi I'm Sue

I live in the mountains of Arizona. . I love camping and traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 3 girls and 1 boy. I really like camping, scouting, crafts, gardening, making soap and playing with my grandchildren. I enjoy being with my husband and going on vacations. I'm a total tourist and love all the sites and historical places. Recently, I have become a birdwatcher. I also work at Barnet Dulaney Eye Center, here in town. I love to dance to 80's music..I'm an old "disco queen". I would really like to learn how to be a 'bee keeper'.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. The standards and values that I have been taught have helped me to live a successful and happy life. I choose to follow Christs gospel because it gives me peace, it gives me knowledge that I would not have had otherwise. This wonderful gospel helps to keep me on the path that leads to eternal life. I feel complete love from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know that I am a daughter of God. I know who I am, what I want to be and how to get there. It is a plan of happiness. I know that Jesus lives and was resurrected. I know also that we all will have that gift. I know that he died for my sins, and if I repent when I have done wrong, that I can receive forgiveness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first, attending my Sunday meetings weekly and volunteering to do service. I have served by working with the young women in teaching them lessons on Sundays and mid-week activities also yearly youth camps. I have also loved serving by organizing monthly activities for the adult women in teaching them homemaking skills. I have organized cub scout day camps and have been a den leader and cub master. I've gained many new interests by participating in scouting like: Birdwatching and rock hounding. I have given talks in Sunday sacrament meeting. I love teaching the adult women class where we learn about gospel principles and how we can all live them. The Lord has multiplied my talents when I have accepted to serve. He has made it possible for me to do what was needed. I love serving others. When I have lost myself in service.. I have been truly happy. I have learned so much from others and their lives have been an example to me. I have felt it important to do my best always especially for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
