Hi I'm Anna

I'm a wife, an occupational therapy student, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I'm 22 and working on my masters in occupational therapy. Occupational therapists help people do the things they want to do when they have challenges such as a disability. For example, if someone has an injury or illness that will affect them for the rest of their life, we can work with that person to figure out tools and strategies so they can still take care of themselves by doing things such as running errands, cooking, taking care of their home, etc. I've been married to a good man for over two years. I like to cook healthy food that tastes great. I look forward to having children. I enjoy spending quality time with family and good friends. I enjoy the outdoors and being active, including working with horses, playing various sports, hiking, running, mountain biking, rock climbing, and more.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to members of the church, and I came to know for myself while I was a teenager that this is the true church. I came to know this through reading the Book of Mormon and personal prayer. I am very grateful for the teachings of my church. We are imperfect people striving to become better. Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ are at the head of our church. I know that we are all God's children, and that He knows my name, and more about me than I know about myself, and He loves me. He knows and loves you as well. We can be with our families forever. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet who restored the church on the earth under the direction of God, and I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today who continues to receive revelation from God. I am able to receive revelation to guide me in my own decisions.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good member of the community. I try to learn what Christ wants us to know, and share these happy things with others. I lead a committee of women in the church whose main purpose is to serve people in need in our neighborhood. I am also on a church committee who organizes athletic events for the neighborhood.
