Hi I'm Gary

I'm an Aussie who loves his family. I enjoy helping others. I worship Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since I was a boy, back in the sixties when my Dad brought home our first stereo, I have loved listening to quality music. That hobby has naturally extended to home theatre, and we have a family tradition of watching movies together. An associated interest in electronics has led me on an information technology career path, and I currently install multifunction photocopiers for a living, including training customers on how to best use them. My wonderful wife and I are about to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and, as much as we love our children and grandchildren, are looking forward to spending time away together exploring our beautiful Australia.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in the church, it wasn't until I was in my late teens that I gained a personal witness of its divinity. Through living the principles taught by the church, I have been able to navigate myself and my family through the storms of life to enjoy relative peace and happiness. Through ordinances only available in this church, I look forward to continuing relationships of love with my family.

How I live my faith

First and foremost, I try to follow the Saviours example in the way I interact with my wife and children - understanding that success here is more important than any other goal I might achieve in life. Secondly, I have many opportunities to serve others in my church community. Wherever I can, within the boundaries of my own limitations, I try to make a positive difference in their lives. Finally, when dealing with everyone else, it has always been my practice to treat others with respect and give them the benefit of any doubt. I try to emphasise the good I see in others.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Absolutely, and something I'm looking forward to. Show more Show less
