Hi I'm James

I'm Husband, I'm a Mailman, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to my wonderful wife and best friend. I am soon to become a father to a wonderful child, a blessing from Heavenly Father. I work for the USPS as a City Letter Carrier. I am also the owner of a very energetic and fun loving pug. In my free time I enjoy reading books on American history. I also enjoy sending and receiving postcards from all over the world. I like most types of music from 80's Rock to Classic Country, as long as the music isn't derogatory or degrading I will usually enjoy it. I am also a fan of several shows from the BBC.

Why I am a Mormon

My life before joining the Church was headed nowhere fast. I was trying everything I could think of to be happy but I could never find true happiness, the kind that fills your soul. I decided to become a memeber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because the principles were basic and were based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. I also prayed to Heavenly Father to ask if this is the church I should join and he spoke to me through the Holy Ghost and confirmed my choice. Being a member of this church and following the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ has brought me many blessings and I know many more blessings are instore for me if continue to live rightously.

How I live my faith

I'm currently called as a Ward Clerk, that means I work closely with the Bishop and his counslers. I maintain the church records and also work with the tithes and offerings for the ward membership. While I'm not working at my church calling I still try to live my faith by praying morning and night, reading scriptures, and listening to church radio programs or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
