Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a computer programmer and enjoy travelling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freelance software engineer who loves to travel. I love to visit new places and learn new things. I have a wonderful wife and 4 kids who I love, but can sometimes drive me crazy. I'm also a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young my parents were Mormon. When I was 5 they stopped going to Church. When I became a teenager I wanted to find a faith of my own that I could identify with. I went to multiple Churches but couldn't find the right one. Eventually the missionaries talked to me as they were teaching my brother about the LDS Church. They asked me if I wanted to take the discussions and I accepted. Shortly after that I was baptized into the LDS Church. A year later I attended BYU where I was able to learn more about my faith and to help grow spiritually.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working with the young men at Church. On Sundays I help give spiritual lessons to bring them closer to Christ and to grow their testimonies. I also work as a scout leader helping the young men in the Venturing program. I love working the young men and seeing their faith in Jesus grow as they mature. I also love to do genealogy and learn more about my family. I am currently researching my family back in Norway and Sweden and love seeing the old pictures and hearing the stories.
