Hi I'm Larry

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Nevada and moved to Idaho in my junior year of high school. There I met my eternal companion.

About Me

I like to make lighthouses out of tree branches. I also make cribs for my daughters and grand daughters I have 20 grand daughters and 28 grandsons. I like to travel and have been to Spain, Portugal, England, Mexico, Israel, Egypt, Greece, Italy. What a beautiful world we live in.

Why I am a Mormon

As a youth, I had many friends that belonged to the Church. In those days there was a week day program for the children of the Church called Primary. All my friend would go to Primary after school on Wednesdays and my brother and I would walk home together. I asked my friend if I could go with them on Wednesdays. They told my they would check with their teachers and let me know. I waited to find out if I could go with them. They forgot to ask, but said if I was good I could go with them. I promised to be good. I went and enjoyed it very much. I was given permission by my parents and was baptized into the Church. It has been a great influence on my life and many decisions. I have a testimony of living prophets and apostles. I know God lives and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He has given us the scriptures to help us learn about Him and His gospel. The gospel was restored in these last days by the Prophet Joseph Smith. Through him, (Joseph Smith) the Priesthood that Jesus gave to his apostles was restored once again to the earth. This is the power to preform all the ordinances that are esential to bring us back into the presence of our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving my brothers and sister. I am presently serving in the Bishop's Storehouse. This is were the Church helps those who are having difficulties with feeding their families. We send a truck load of food to various cities to help members there. I like to give tours to many of the Church history site in the midwest.
