Hi I'm Kasey

I love doing art. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love God. I love my family. I love Jesus. You get what you see when you meet me. I love the movie "What About Bob?" I want to be able to say at the end of my life that I have never met a stranger. I am a devoted friend and family member. I love fireworks. I do my daily crossword over Fruity Pebbles and a cup of yogurt. My favorite book is Don Quijote. I've never ridden a horse. I make my dreams come true. I am a 23 year old college student. I am me.

Why I am a Mormon

I used to not really care about my religion or my choices. There were a couple of years where I was more concerned with what people thought of me and what I thought would make me happy. When I literally hit rock bottom I started to look up. I began to read the Book of Mormon in hopes that I would be able to find myself and find happiness. I did. When I read the last verse on the last page of that book, I felt a power and a peace that I will never forget and I will never deny. Everything changed. I knew/know the Book of Mormon is true and I have chosen to live my life in harmony with the teaching found in that book and in the Bible. I am happy. I found God. Well, actually, I think that God found me.

How I live my faith

I am the President of the women's group called the Relief Society. I love working with the women in my congregation. It takes a lot of time and effort that I don't always have, but it is worth every sacrifice I give. We learn together, worship together, pray together, work together, cry together and come closer to Christ together. I am learning to love others more that I ever have before in my life.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Kasey
They will talk about Jesus Christ and His love for us. They will talk about His sacrifice for all people so we can be forgiven of our mistakes. They will teach about Heavenly Father's plan for the salvation of His children and how we can return to Him. They will teach about how we can be better people and how we can be happier.
