Hi I'm Fred Hornick

I'm proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the LDS Church in 1975 while living in Salt Lake City after investigating the faith for over 10 years. Very soon afterwards I married my wife and we moved to Houston Texas and started our family. In 1977 we moved to Denver Colorado to live in the Denver Tech Center area. We have lived here for over 34 years and have 3 wonderful children and 6 grand children which are God's greatest gift us.

Why I am a Mormon

Our faith has been very strong in our lives and helped us immensely to go through this mortal journey with gratitude and thankfulness. We appreciate the truths and principles taught by our faith and look forward to dwelling with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the eternities as an Eternal Family. Without the Gospel in our lives, the journey so far would have been far more difficult, and I am convinced far less happy. I testify that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who was chosen to restore the Church of Jesus Christ again on the earth. I also testify that Joseph Smith translated the Book Of Mormon to bring to the world another witness of Jesus Christ and to clarify many gospel principles.

How I live my faith

We are happily very active in our faith attending church and participating in Temple activities. Through our faith I was introduced to the Boy Scouts of America and have been serving as an Adult Volunteer for over 30 glorious years. Scouting has kept me young and I feel like a recycled teenager. I am grateful to help teach and guide the youth of our Nation and to help bring better new leaders for our country that will keep this country morally strong and be full of good character. I am a family man with an awesome wife of over 35 years and 3 outstanding children and now 7 grand children. Life could not be better and to live with the knowledge I now have, that we can be family together forever really thrills my heart. I am a lucky man.
