Hi I'm Glenn King

I grew up around gaming and music my whole life, it's something that I will do my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

About me, there is so much I'm not really sure where to start! Usually you can find me either writing code on the computer, or trying to get into the good kind of mischief! I thoroughly enjoy playing games and making or listening to any kind of music. Currently I'm working towards going on a mission of my own, so my life is full of preparation classes that help me to prepare for the amazing 2 year journey.

Why I am a Mormon

A good reason that I'm a Mormon is that I knew what it was like before when I didn't have the gospel in my life. I was baptized when I was 18, but my family had been LDS their whole lives. There are so many ways to explain why I'm a Mormon and the joys that it brings, but it's simply just trying to better myself to live with our Heavenly Father again. I see no greater goal in life than to be blessed with eternal life and live in the presence of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Over the past couple months, my testimony has been strengthened and fortified to burn brighter than it's ever burned before. A lot of people ask me how do you know this? You can't possible know this for sure, where is the proof? I simply reply that if you open your hearts and you seek answers sincerely, that you will be able to find the answers that you are looking for. For myself, all I had to do was ask and the Lord provided me with an answer and a path laid in front of me. I know that this is the one true church, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind. There are too many components that had to be done to restore the church through Joseph Smith, and I've learned that there aren't any coincidences anymore, and everything happens for a reason. I hope that one day the gospel can touch other peoples lives the way it's touched mine, and that is a huge part of myself wanting to become a missionary. I see no greater joy short of eternal life than to spread the gospel to other people, it is the best gift that you can communicate to someone.

How I live my faith

I live and exercise my faith by trying to fulfill anything that my current ward needs. Currently I have a couple active callings, those being a ward missionary and a part of the activities committee. Along with those I am also a home teacher to a few others, it's definitely an experience in it's own. Teaching other members and helping new members to understand the gospel in it's fullness is a happiness in it's own category.
