Hi I'm Jonathan

I love Auburn football, and I love Italy.

About Me

I am a college student now studying to become a physical therapist. I enjoy sports. I like to watch them and play them, though I'm better at watching. I am a very proud and passionate fan of Auburn University Athletics since I grew up in Alabama. I have a mom, a dad, and a sister, but the family isn't complete without our dog, Caesar. I spent two years in Italy as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love Italian food, the language, the people, the culture, and all of the people I met while I was there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at 8 years old with only the understanding that baptism is a good thing. As time progressed I found that I need to come to a conclusion for myself. My grandmother's counsel and the Book of Mormon helped me come to the knowledge that the Church of Jesus Christ was lost for a time and has been restored to the earth. The doctrine found in the Book of Mormon along with other books of scripture and the words of the living prophets answer all the questions I need to know and show me exactly how I can live with my Heavenly Father and my family for time and all eternity. I've never been happier than when I shared this knowledge and these experiences with others and saw these same things change their lives.

How I live my faith

Over the summer I have been a counselor at an LDS summer camp for youth ages 14-18. I have beenable to share my beliefs and help others strengthen their own testimonies of Jesus Christ. This has been a very rewarding experience for me. I am constantly amazed at how much joy can come from living and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The more I study and learn about the Savior, the greater desire I have to share that with others. A steady diet of daily prayer, scripture study, and obedience to the commandments of God leads to increased faith and a greater capacity to face life's challenges.
