Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired businessman, dedicating myself to missionary and humanitarian service. Besides my membership in the LDS Church, I am a member of Rotary International because I am always looking for ways to expand my ability to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith, and as a result, received lots of teachings throughout my childhood and youth. I was always surrounded by people whom I trusted, like my parents, Church leaders, and others, who seemed to know for themselves that the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by the LDS Church was true, and I relied on the strength of their knowledge as the source of my strength. But there came a time late in my teen years that I needed to know for myself, independent of anyone else's beliefs. I am a Mormon today because of a moment in 1968 when I no longer needed the strength of others; I now knew for myself. I continue to fortify that knowledge through following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As I said before, I love to serve others. Over the years I have been a Scoutmaster, a leader in a local Church unit, a missionary in Mexico, Venezuela, and Guatemala, and presently serve people in my own community who need help with their education, employment, and other matters. Through my membership in a Rotary club I am able to improve my own community as well as help people around the world with their needs. With my wife by my side, we have raised four outstanding children who are now raising their own families.
