Hi I'm Ashton

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of two, college graduate (journalism), and love skiing and hiking and reading. I also enjoy cooking and sewing for fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the LDS church, and after leaving home really felt verification that what I'd been taught growing up was the truth, and that if following the things I was taught made me happy it must be good. I continued to study the scriptures and have experiences at church and other social activities with church associates that strengthened my testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the true church, that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer, and that the Lord really does have an eternal plan for all of His children. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to marry in the temple and know that my family is sealed together and that we will never lose each other in life or in death.

How I live my faith

I just live day to day according to the principles and standards we have as church members. I try to study the scriptures daily and teach my children about Jesus and what he has done for all of us. I also help organize the printed program for our weekly services to have the announcements and names of speakers and the hymns for that week. Our family really enjoys spending time with each other - the emphasis on family is one of my favorite things about my faith.
