Hi I'm Wendie

I'm a mom of 3 boys and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 3 boys. My husband is going to school for Orthodontics. I love to sing, play soccer, go on hikes, rock climb, and pretty much anything that is a sport, outside, or with my family. My family is everything to me and I have an amazing husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but it wasn't until I had made some serious mistakes, then repented and turned my life around that I realized that true happiness only comes from living how our Savior would want us to. Ever since that day I truly repented of my sins I have given my life to the Lord. I have still made tons of mistakes, but none so serious, and I have never been happier. I am so grateful to my Savior. I am grateful that He suffered so I don't have to. I am grateful he is so merciful and is willing to so easily forgive us. I know that He lives and He loves us and wants all of us to return to live with Him again. I know he suffered for our sins and died for us. I am grateful for the temple, and I know that the temple makes it possible for us to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and our families again someday. I am grateful for the prophet Joseph Smith and I know he restored the gospel gave his life for what he knew to be true and so we could have the fulness of the gospel on the earth today. I know the Prophet Thomas S. Monson speaks for the Lord and I know when we live all the commandments we will truly be happy and blessed. I know with all of my heart that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Our family every day picks a story from the scriptures and we have our kids act the story out. They love the scripture stories, they just can't really sit through them yet, but we think it's very important to teach our children the gospel in the Bible and Book of Mormon. We also have family prayer together every morning and every night. It's a wonderful way to feel the spirit and feel united as a family. We also have Family Home Evening. Every Monday night is family night. We teach the scriptures, play games, eat dessert, and more. The best thing to me is taking time out of our busy life to be together as a family. I really think that our kids need that, and I know my kids love when its Family Home Evening night. I'm just an average person, but I know that my job as a mom is so important for the success of future generations and for my children's eternal well-being.
