Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have recently finished graduate school. I am currently an Adolescent Substance Abuse counselor. I spend a lot of time assisting teenagers within the community to over come their addictions of drugs and alcohol. I am a husband and father to a wonderful family. I am constantly busy with work, family gatherings / activities, and volunteering with my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church...but that isn't why I choose to remain a Mormon today. I see the joy and happiness that it brings me with every passing day. I see that as I draw myself closer to our Father in Heaven, our family draws closer together. I have seen wonderful miracles (both great and small). Every day that I study the scriptures, I feel the love of my Father in Heaven. I feel Him near as I fall on my knees in prayer. He honestly and truly hears me. My wife and I were told for the past 6 years (our entire marriage) that we had slim to no chance of ever getting pregnant and having any biological children of our own. Today, we have a wonderful two year old child that brings such happiness and joy to our lives. We have recently been told that we are expecting once again. These two great miracles are just some of many that has happened within my life. I know that this church is true with all my heart. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ exist and live and breathe. I know that Heavenly Father knows me by name and cares for me greatly. He proves that to me with every breath that I take, every time I look into the eyes of my beloved wife and dear son, and every time that He brings peace to my hectic and busy life. I know that without a doubt, our Father in Heaven called a prophet by the name of Joseph Smith who through Heavenly Father's direction and guidance was able to restore the church. Knowing that the fullness of the gospel has been restored and that there is a modern day prophet brings great joy to my heart. I feel and know that my God has not forsaken us and continues to poor out blessings to us by providing modern day revelation and inspiration to His prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good member of the community. I am part of the leadership within my ward at church. I enjoy providing service to those in need. I assist those that are sick or feel weery. I assist in organizing events where large groups of members get together and provide service, play sports, have potlucks, and attend activities where the members may get to known one another. I have the honor of visiting members all across my community where I live to get to know them and assure them that our ward is thinking about them. I go to church every Sunday with my family and learn more about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I spend time all throughout the week meeting new members and assisting others that are in need of help. I love my church.
