Hi I'm Cori

I was raised in another faith but now, blessedly, I am a Latter Day Saint. I will never be anthing else!

About Me

I love to play guitar and sing. Music touches my heart deeper than just about anything else. I am a teacher in Primary and love the children more than I could ever put into words.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had spiritual dreams. I have always pondered things spiritual. Even as a child I knew when I was being taught things that were not right. Every question I've every had has been answered here. The first time I stepped into a Latter Day sacrament building the spirit touched me so strongly I could not stop the tears from coming. They fell the entire time I was there. I could not stop no matter how hard I tried. I recognized the truth as soon as I heard it. I found the home I had been searching for all my life. I was welcomed with open arms as one of the family with love unconditional. I love Christ and His church and His people more than I have ever loved anything in my life. I have found the best in this life and it will lead me to the best in the life to come. I know why I'm here and I know where I am going. The joy this has brought me is indescribable and something no one will every be able to take from me.

How I live my faith

I work in Primary with my loves, the children. Right now I am teaching but I have also been chorister. Working with the children is such a joy. Right after I first joined the church, in the first General Conference I witnessed, President Monson told a story of a primary teacher he had when he was young. He spoke of how much her calling touched their lives and I knew right then and there that was exactly what I wanted to do. I prayed that I could work in Primary and that I could be as good a teacher as his teacher was. I wanted to make a difference. How excited I was to be called to Primary! I love my calling in Primary but will be happy to do whatever the Lord wants me to do. I will always do the best I can for my Heavenly Father.
