Hi I'm Malcolm

I grew up in Brisbane. I'm a high school guidance councilor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father of six children and a grandfather of a little boy. I enjoy rebuilding cars and working on the farm. I am currently working as a Guidance Officer at a local High school; With this job I have had the oppurtunity to live in Mt Isa for three years with my family, and was able to experience living in the Torres Strait Islands a couple of years ago with my wife and two youngest children. I enjoy travelling the country and camping with my family. My wife and two younger children, with family freinds of ours has had the oppurtunity to been able to drive down the Canberra while camping, and drive up the north coast of Queesnland.

Why I am a Mormon

At a young age of 2 my parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a youth I had to discover for myself if what they taught me was true or not. This I did, by reading and praying about the Book Of Mormon and found out for myself through the feelings of my heart that it was true. I served a mission for the Chruch for two years, In Wellington New Zealand, this helped reinforce my Testimony and I now know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I use the church values of: Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Knowledge, Choice and Accountabilty, Good Works, Integrity and Virtue as founding principles in raising my family and in counciling at school and in the community. My current responsibilty in my local church is as a Home teacher, with this responsibilty i visit families in their homes and share a gospel message each month with my companion. My role on Sunday's is as a secretary to our Bishop.
