Hi I'm Seth

I'm a small business owner. I'm a husband and father. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of two kids. I am a small business owner. I am a very competitive person, and thus I love sports. I've played soccer my whole life, but I also love watching basketball, and football. My dream career would be to own a professional soccer club in England. But...with the help of my wife, I have already given up on that dream!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the LDS Church at the age of 20. I grew up in a Christian home, but my family was not actively involved in any church. When I was 18, a Mormon friend invited me to go to church with her family. I enjoyed it very much. A few weeks later, her mom invited me to read the Book of Mormon, and pray and ask God if "this is true scripture." That invitation changed my life. The Holy Spirit of God testified to me in my heart that The Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I am grateful for that. As I continued to study, and learn form the Spirit, I gained a testimony that this was Christ Church upon the earth. The same Church that Jesus Christ established in Biblical times, with the same organization of prophets, apostles, teachers, and all the other Priesthood leaders. I had a desire to join His church, and I did so by being baptized. Shortly after my baptism I chose to serve as a full time missionary. I was called to serve in Toronto, ON, Canada. I would not trade the two years I spent in Canada for any earthly possession. Serving the Lord as a full time missionary shaped who I am today. When I returned home I fell in love with my sweet heart, and we were married for time and all eternity in the Holy Temple of the Lord. The Book of Mormon, and my membership in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has changed my life. Before I joined the church, I felt like I had no eternal purpose. But now I know that I am a child of God, who knows me and loves me. He has a plan for me. His Son, Jesus Christ, atoned for my sins. He too knows me and loves me. I want to become like him. And I know that as I continue to follow His plan, I will be blessed with a fulness of joy! I love Him.

How I live my faith

I am so grateful for my membership in this Church. I serve in the church by helping some of our full time missionaries share the gospel. I strive to be a missionary at all times. What this means to me is to simply be a good example to my friends who have other religious faiths, and to be willing to answer any questions they might have regarding mine. Being a missionary to me also means being willing to invite others to church with me or to read from the Book of Mormon. I do these things with love, and without being overbearing. I share my faith with my friends because I love my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love being a Mormon.
