Hi I'm Kristen

I am a texan, mom of four, and a lover of fashion. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a thirty year old wife and mother of four. I have degrees in Marketing and Finance from Texas Tech University. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors (as long as it's not in 100 degree heat), and blogging.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because our gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ, is the only true gospel on Earth. Each and every one of our church's teachings make sense to me and are clear in how they help us obtain eternal life with our families. Why wouldn't everyone want to be with their families forever? The exaltation of my family is my deepest desire and is in the back of my mind on a daily basis when I make choices that will affect and influence me and my family. Jesus Christ has made that desire possible for all of us if we obey his commandments. My prayer is that I can be an example to others, especially my non-member family, of what it is to be a faithful Mormon....that living my life in the way I do brings me much happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith both in the home and at church. At home, I fulfill my responsibilities of teaching my children the ways of the Lord, and being a faithful wife and supporter to my husband. We say family prayers together each and every day. We read our scriptures as often as we can. We designate Monday nights as "Family Night," where my husband and I lead our family in learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ....this involves singing, games, story-telling, scripture reading, and usually a yummy treat! At church I assist with the children. I maintain membership records, schedules of Sunday lessons, and newsletters we send out to parents. I enjoy serving the children in this capacity and feel grateful for the opportunity to aid in bringing up our children in faith.
