Hi I'm Steve

I'm a professional engineer, small business owner, father and husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a family man - I love spending time with my wife and my children. I love to travel - I've helped build buildings on three continents.

Why I am a Mormon

When my mother died, I didn't know where to turn. I found comfort and light in knowing Jesus Christ. As I learned about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I love telling people about the Book of Mormon. It is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I love to attend and witness baptisms - where a person becomes a Disciple of Jesus Christ. I love to tell people that Jesus Christ has restored the fullness of His Gospel in our Day and that there is a living prophet on the earth.

How is the Book of Mormon different from the Bible? How did Joseph Smith obtain the “golden plates” or Book of Mormon?

Steve
The Book of Mormon is God's message to a modern world - Jesus Christ is the Savior of all mankind. The answer to how Joseph Smith obtained the "gold plates" clarifies the difference between the Book of Mormon and the Bible - direct, powerful divine intervention. The Book of Mormon was translated, organized and presented with the direct aid of heaven. The Bible was translated, organized and published by righteous men (and women) who wanted to follow Jesus Christ and were guided by the Light of Christ to preserve a sacred record. Joseph Smith was guided by angels to a physical record left by ancient prophets that knew about Jesus Christ and wanted their posterity to know Jesus Christ. Read the Book of Mormon and it will reinforce every wonderful, eternal principle you learned in the Bible. Show more Show less
