Hi I'm David

I work in the oil field as an engineer. I speak Finnish and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, brother, uncle, and a friend. I bowhunt and ice fish. I love being in the outdoors and especially love riding horses in the mountains. I have an engineering degree and work in the oil field as an operations foreman. My work keeps me busy but when I am home I enjoy playing tennis and racquetball with my wife. I want to learn how to make pottery and like making rustic log furniture.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS Church but I also follow my convictions. I have seen firsthand in my life how Heavenly Father has led me and protected me. I have seen the goodness that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings into the lives of others. It brings goodness and peace into my life. I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ answers my fundamental questions Why are we here? How to do we find peace? Who am I? Heavenly Father has not left us alone. He still speaks to living prophets and apostles. This guidance gives us direction in an increasingly confused world.

How I live my faith

I enjoy working with the youth of the Church through Boy Scouts. I try to be a positive example in my work. My faith has an immense effect on how I live my life. I strive to be more kind, more thoughtful, and a better person. I served a mission in Finland.
