Hi I'm Shawn

I am an only child. I am a convert. I like to learn and try new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am awesome, I am a husband and a college graduate and I look like I am 16, I am an only child, I am Mexican and Jewish, I am a convert, and I am Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me happy. Life isn't perfect but I have never been happier. I have come closer to God, I have a family of my own, and I am excited about life. My life has improved *100% since joining the LDS faith. *there is no actual research on this I just feel that way

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become friends with everyone and making them feel welcome. I love to have fun and still keep my gospel standards. Once I went out to dinner with people I work with and ordered a virgin mojito and people were givinge a hard time and before I knew it everybody was ordering virgin drinks. Confidence in my faith in Christ is important and when you have it you can set trends.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Shawn
I simply believe through experience and recognizing those experiences. Reading and praying. Actually making the effort to get to know ,just like you would get to know anybody. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Shawn
Ha No! I can totally see why people would think that, sometimes it can be overwhelming because church members may talk about Joseph Smith pretty frequently, but it would be as if we lived the time where Moses was prophet and people talked about him often, not because they worshiped Moses, but simply because he was a prophet. We all know they they loved and worshiped God though, Moses just taught them the correct principles in worshiping our Creator, likewise Joseph Smith was an instrument that revealed lost truths in our Understanding of the Most important person Jesus Christ.
